Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar – June 2025

Prepare for a journey that touches both heart and soul—an adventure that creates lifelong memories. MúltíKúltí Travel presents a unique trip in June to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar, guided by director María Reyndal, translator Helga Soffía Einarsdóttir—who lived in Tanzania for several years—and Kjartan Jónsson, chairman of Friends of Kenya and Tanzania.

Kenya – 3 Nights in Nairobi

The journey begins in Nairobi, where participants can visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the famous author of Out of Africa. The group will also explore the Maasai Mara Market and tour the city.
Additionally, there will be an opportunity to visit the Little Bees School in a Nairobi slum, which Friends of Kenya and Tanzania have supported for over 20 years. Participants can also visit Anna Thóra at Haven Rescue Home, where she has provided shelter, education, and psychological support to young mothers aged 12–18 for several years, opening new opportunities for them.

Mwanza, Tanzania – 3 Nights in a Nature Paradise by Lake Victoria

Next, the group travels to Mwanza, a city built on hills covered with large boulders. Here, participants will learn about the work of the Hakizetu organization, which runs a sewing school for young girls. There is an opportunity to have custom-made African garments sewn from vibrant fabrics.
The group will also be introduced to Nourish Africa, an organization focused on environmental education. Part of the trip’s cost funds a tree-planting and education project in collaboration with this organization.
Additionally, there is an option to take a boat trip to Saanane Island, Tanzania’s smallest national park, where visitors can walk among diverse wildlife.

Safari in Serengeti – 2 Nights in a Tent

The adventure continues with an unforgettable safari in Serengeti, where participants can see magnificent wildlife in their natural habitat. Accommodation is in luxury tented camps, allowing guests to fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the wild.

The adventure continues with an unforgettable safari in Serengeti, where you can witness magnificent wildlife in its natural habitat. Accommodation is in luxury tented camps, allowing you to fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the wild. The safari follows The Great Migration, where millions of herd animals move north, accompanied by predators of all kinds.

Ngorongoro Crater – 1 Night in a Luxury Lodge

After two nights in tents, the journey continues to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, where guests will stay in a luxury lodge. The crater is home to a vast variety of wildlife, including The Big Five: elephants, leopards, lions, buffalo, and rhinos.

Zanzibar – 4 Nights on the Beach and in Stone Town

The journey ends on the enchanting island of Zanzibar, where the group will spend three nights on the white sandy beaches—either in total relaxation or engaging in available activities, such as snorkeling with dolphins or taking surfing lessons.
The final night is spent in Stone Town, where you can experience a fascinating blend of Arabic, European, and African cultures.
